New link school on the Isle of Wight

Oakfield CE Primary School on the Isle of Wight has been linked with SLC Coronation Field in Bo. Trustee Amanda Healey visited Oakfield in March to lead an assembly about Sierra Leone, showing photos including some of Coronation Field, and the children responded enthusiastically. They asked lots of questions and enjoyed trying on clothes from Sierra Leone. Deputy Headteacher Mrs Doyle had already created a display board about the link, and Education Secretary Alex was delighted to see his photograph is included in the display.
