Repainting at St Philip's, Freetown

When a group of EWA Trustees visited St Philip's Primary School in Freetown in February 2024, the classrooms were very dark and gloomy. EWA has provided paint and money for labour costs, and painting began during the Easter holidays. The school should be looking very different when the children return.
Work completed at Sembehun Kortuwabu

The work to repair a classroom block and add a headteacher's office and store at Sembehun Kortuwabu school has been completed. The local community have been involved in this project to improve their school, which serves their village and several others in the area. EWA Trustees decided this school should be a priority after visiting it in February 2024. The work has been managed by the Bishop of Bo, Reverend Solomon Scott-Manga. A second classroom block is still
