Work begins at St Mathias

Work has begun to replace a dilapidated building at St Mathias Primary School in Lunsar with a new block of classrooms. When Trustees visited this school in 2024 they were appalled by the terrible conditions for teaching and learning. Now the old building has been demolished, and the Bishop of Freetown has turned the earth to begin the construction of a new building. EWA still needs to raise more funds to complete this vital work. The children were happy to welcome the Bishop of Freetown to start the work on their new classrooms.
