Thank you Emeric Coker

EWA would like to thank Emeric Coker, Diocesan Education Secretary in Freetown, for his work with schools and his support for our work. We were deeply saddened to learn recently of Emeric's death after a short illness, and we will miss his regular contact updating us on the projects we were funding and telling us where help was needed next. Emeric was particularly committed to working with schools in the provinces outside the city of Freetown, and we will ensure that we prioritise these schools in the future. Emeric was a key part of the team that showed a group of Trustees round schools on our visit to Sierra Leone in February 2024, and we enjoyed getting to know him. Thank you Emeric- we will not forget you.
