Alex did detailed research to identify a bike which combines good value with reliability. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters at recent fundraising events, the Trustees were delighted to be able to fund the bike, licence and insurance. We wish Alex many miles of safe travel supporting schools in Bo Diocese.

This was a big challenge, requiring lots of training beforehand, and EWA would like to thank them for their efforts. Well done both of you!

The event raised £126 for EWA, and this money, combined with other recent generous donations, has already been sent to Sierra Leone to reroof a classroom at Damballa Road School in Bo. Children at this school had been unable to take an exam at the end of the summer term because their classroom was flooded, but from September they will be able to learn in a dry and safe environment.
